Latest News - We're Back!

E-mail Print PDF

The Harry Potter Encyclopedia is now back online, and better than ever!

We apologize for the downtime, but this was due to circumstances way beyond our control: in short, we were hacked, and hacked to such an extent that we had to construct the site from scratch, again. That's been a big bunch of hard work, but we were determined to come back bigger and better than ever, and that's exactly what we've done. And so, we can proudly present the all-new version of the Harry Potter Encyclopedia!

We were keen to get the Encyclopedia back online as quickly as we could, and so there may still be some broken links, missing pages, missing images, etc that we haven't spotted. If you find any, we'd be grateful if you could let us know. Just use the Contact Us form.

In addition, the Readers' Encyclopedia is in the process of being totally revamped, so this section will become available shortly.

We also invite you to create an account for the site, this will allow you to post comments, post in the forums, and when it becomes available: access to the readers encyclopedia. Click here to sign up today!

Today in PotterWorld

We are very pleased to announce the release of a band new Encyclopedia feature - "Today in PotterWorld!". A box now appears on the right-hand side of every page of the Encyclopedia, telling you exactly what important events were taking place on each and every day in Potter history.

This feature is the result of a lot of hard work from both Emma and Josh, so big thanks to both of them. All their efforts have been totally worthwhile, as it's a feature you won't find anywhere else on the web.

Be sure to check back every day to see what was happening in PotterWorld!
